Trainer Background

Research the trainer and the training school before you enrol in any course. It’s essential to know your trainer's background, if they are certified and experienced, and if the training school’s verified to issue a certification card.

If you are near San Francesco Bay Area, Heart Start CPR is an American Heart Association (AHA) verified and certified Basic Life Support (BLS) training school. Their trainers are Firefighters and Paramedics. It’s wow because you are getting their on-field and first-hand experience and knowledge.

And yes, they provide other certification courses: PALS, BLS, ACLS, Stop the Bleed, and Fire Training. Check out their BLS certification course here.

Certification Validity

As already discussed above, check if the training school’s certification is valid. If your employer accepts the certification. Sometimes the issue arises with online certification because some (very few) employers in the US may ask you to attend physical BLS classes.

Same Day Certification

Most of the emergency training schools provide same-day certificate and renewal services. It’s up to you whether you need the certificate on the same day.

Availability

If you are an in-class type of person, then attending class is an option for you. Check if your training school is near and easy to visit. If not, online class is the only option for you.
